ABSTRACT

This session will focus on the integrated management approach employed to complete the demolition and remediation of the Spaulding Fibre Site in Tonawanda, NY.  The speakers will highlight the key project challenges and the ways in which demolition and remediation work were conducted using an integrated management approach.  The speakers will present unique investigation and remediation approaches that were employed as well as ways in which the demolition and remediation tasks were phased to realize significant savings in cost.  Finally, the speakers will address the ways in which the integrated management approach was used to foster cooperation between various agencies involved in completion of the project and delivery of the site for re-development. A question and answer period will follow the presentation.
